					<description>This guide is interesting. I've seen other similar guides as well. There are certainly many good points raised in the guide   but it would be nice to have a guide customized for our group. 

Naturally I am trying to help my students be good graduate students. I know what it takes to be a good gradaute student but every student is different. The challenge for me is finding the right set of inputs to drive a student to be successful. It is much easier when students are proactive instead of reactive.</description>
